What is hydrogen water?
In simple terms, hydrogen water is ordinary drinking water that is artificially saturated with molecular hydrogen H2, similar to how carbonated water is saturated with carbon dioxide CO2.
All claims about benefits must be confirmed by clinical studies. The effectiveness of molecular hydrogen as an antioxidant was first proven in 2007 by Japanese scientists led by Professor Shigeo Ohta, with results published in Nature Medicine. After this, the global medical community began studying its therapeutic properties.

Usually, water contains hydrogen (hydrogen). A molecule of ordinary water consists of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, and they are strongly bound together. If we take HYDROGEN WATER, then there is molecular hydrogen H2, which is free and not bound, and this is not at all the same as H20.
Although hydrogen water can occur naturally, its concentration in natural sources is very low. The only known natural sources of hydrogen water are hot springs in Japan, Korea, Mexico, and other parts of the world, which contain high concentrations of hydrogen and other minerals. In these springs, hydrogen water is formed as a result of the reaction of water with hot gases, such as hydrogen sulfide, found deep in the Earth. Although some hot springs in Ukraine contain various minerals and trace elements, the presence of high concentrations of hydrogen in these springs is unknown.
In medicine, one of the most important parameters of liquids for humans is its “charge”, which is defined as the redox potential. For long healthy longevity, such a charge must be negative. All human cells and the internal environment (blood, lymph and tissue fluid) have a negative redox potential: from -50 to - 150 mV.
When consuming hydrogen water with a negative ORP, the body does NOT spend energy on the transformation of this water, it is completely absorbed, and the accumulated (stored) energy is used to prolong the life of cells and tissues of the body.
The most common way to produce molecular hydrogen is:
1. Chemical reaction of water with metals (usually magnesium) or metal hydrides;
2. REM electrolysis of water (the cost of a number of devices starts at $100).
If water is poured from a thermos into a closed container, such water can retain its properties for up to 5-6 hours, and in an open container, for example, a glass, for up to 1 hour.
The official recommended life of one ionizer filter cartridge is 6–8 weeks or up to 300–350 liters of water, depending on the intensity of use and the quality of the source water.
